New projects and images.

When we met this client, it was apparent that they were mad that the previous integrator sold them an arsenal of components but never made them work properly or even at all in some cases. We took our time to understand what worked, what didn’t and what the client really wanted.

Our goal was to recycled as many components as possible, upgraded what was paramount to reliability and provide a whole home control and communication system that would work. The NetStreams DigiLinX system allowed us to use fixed and portable iPads for global control of high use areas such as the Kitchen, Basement, Master Suite, Patio, 3-season room and more.

The basement theater required a few component upgrades with a new Denon surround sound receiver, 400 disc Blu-Ray DVD changer, Apple TV and new URC MX-6000 remote. The JVC projector and all the speakers tested good so we reused them. This theater now works exceptionally well. The client was shocked with how impressive the room sounded and looked with virtually the same components. Calibration became the running joke. He wanted every room “calibrated” to perform at its best. I stated that that was included and was not an additional cost to him.

Upon completion, we took all of the removed components and listed them on-line to help recuperate some of the project costs. Future plans to expand and compliment the A/V architecture into other rooms and areas in underway for this summer.
